Miami-Dade cops arrested four today in the killing of NFL star Sean Taylor, the Miami Herald reports. Eric Rivera, 17, Charles Wardlow, 18, Jason Mitchell, 19, and Venjah Hunte, 20, will all be charged with murder. They aimed to rob Taylor's house and thought no one was home on the night of the shooting, Miami-Dade Director Robert Parker said.

"They were certainly not looking to go there and kill anyone," Parker told CNN. "They were expecting a residence that was not occupied, so murder or shooting someone was not their initial motive." The men allegedly knew Taylor and one has already confessed; police may make further arrests. "The key to solving this case was citizen's tips," he said. (More John Taylor stories.)
