Denver shot 36% against New Jersey last night, but even without Carmelo Anthony the Nuggets had no trouble putting away their 38.4%-shooting opponents. With only 11 points in the first quarter and 31 total in the first half, the Nets had no chance against Allen Iverson's 30 points and Marcus Camby's 14 boards, reports the Rocky Mountain News. Elsewhere in hoops:

  • Marvin Williams made Atlanta sportswriters swoon with his 33-point, seven-rebound, three-steal night against the Sonics, who fell 99-90 to the Hawks.
  • Carlos Boozer got Utah fans in even more of a twitter with his 33 points, 10 boards, and 79% shooting in a 127-113 victory that saw Sacramento's Ron Artest ejected on technicals after imploding in the fourth.
