Funny how near-universal condemnation from around the globe can speed up a police investigation. Authorities in Lahore, Pakistan, arrested four more people yesterday in the stoning death of 25-year-old Farzana Parveen, reports the Indian Express. The four include an uncle and two cousins of the pregnant woman, who earned her family's wrath for marrying a man not of their choosing. They'll join her father, who is already in jail.

Police are under pressure to quickly round up more of the alleged attackers, with most reports saying about 20 men beat Parveen to death with bricks and rocks outside a courthouse. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif yesterday gave Punjab's chief minister—his own brother—24 hours to get all those involved in custody; the chief minister further decreed that they would be tried in anti-terrorism court for faster verdicts, reports Australia's ABC News. One twist in the case came yesterday, when Parveen's widower revealed that he killed his first wife so he could marry Parveen. (More Pakistan stories.)
