Longs Drugs today declined Walgreen’s premium buyout offer, opting for CVS’ in the pharmacy-market tussle, the AP reports. Longs’ largest shareholder calls the choice "totally unfair," but the board maintains that a Walgreen deal could get bogged down in antitrust review.
