Jacko Fans Suicidal, and More Wacko News

Some Michael Jackson fans are reacting to his death in extreme ways. At least a dozen worldwide have committed suicide, Sky News reports. Meanwhile, websites claiming the entertainer is alive—and faked his demise to escape the pressures of fame—are cropping up, according to the Sun. Elsewhere:

• Jackson’s doctor admitted, through his attorney, that it took 20 to 30 minutes for paramedics to be called after the singer was found unconscious, because of confusion over the address and where to find a phone, the AP reports.

• Jackson’s mother, Katherine, filed court documents yesterday to protect her son’s estate, over concerns that assets might be looted or misspent by third parties, TMZ reports.
• Meanwhile, Jackson’s father may be cut out of the will entirely, reports the Wall Street Journal. A 2002 version of the document, believed to be the most current, divides his estate among his mother, his children, and charity organizations.
• Debbie Rowe, Jackson’s ex-wife and the mother of his two eldest children, has been trying to reach Michael’s family, a friend tells People. “Our understanding, though, is that the Jackson family does want to have contact with Debbie,” he said, adding that they want the children to “have no more disruption in their life until their father has been put to rest.”
