Deadbeat Clients Stink: Dog Poop Cleaner-Upper

Melinda Hofmann has a literally crappy job: People pay her to clean up after their dogs. So when one of her clients missed several payments, she kind of lost it. “I just decided to give her poop back,” she tells KTVZ.com. “I kind of lost all rational thought. … As I was flinging the poo all over her yard, it felt really good, and I just kept doing it.”

By the time police arrived, Hoffman had dumped 30 gallons of dog poop on the woman's yard. “Very messy,” observed a police sergeant. Hoffman was led away in handcuffs, unrepentant. “Do I have regrets for dumping poop back in her yard 'cause she's a slacker client? Nope.” That deadbeat client says she's “extremely embarrassed" and will pay up. She said she'd missed the payments because she's battling cancer. (More dog stories.)
