5 Things Democrats Must Do

Michael Moore lays out 5 things in the Daily Beast that Democrats can do between now and November 2 to help their prospects in the midterms:

• Lay the blame: They need "wall-to-wall" ads, videos, and whatever else works to tell Americans that Republicans and George W. Bush got us into two wars and wrecked the economy. "Do not pull a single punch on this. Quit being a bunch of wusses and let the bastards have it!"

• Indictments: Announce that the Justice Department will go after "both those who caused the economic collapse and those who became war profiteers." Try using the RICO statutes.
• Governments jobs: Hire the unemployed to fix our roads, schools, and bridges. Fund this "21st-century WPA" with a tax on the very rich and watch unemployment drop to 5%.
