(AP Photo/Reed Saxon) A Baltimore woman who received a foreclosure notice last week says she's on the second day of a hunger strike to call attention to the mess people around the country are in. "It's about representing a lot of people who are going through this," Lauren Rymer tells the Huffington Post. "Homeowners aren't experts and we can't navigate the system. This is an impossible system to navigate." Rymer, 32, hopes to make the point that not all people facing foreclosures spent beyond their means. She has been steadily employed since 2006, when she bought her home with an interest-only loan. While the payments were reasonable at first, they became impossible for her to meet after her property taxes increased by 55%. She spent yesterday outside the state Capitol and is now working out options with state officials, reports WBAL-TV. Read These Next Here's where things stand in the House ahead of shutdown vote.
