Having trouble finding a job? Perhaps you should consider Scott Avidon's approach: He's offering $25,000 to the first person who helps him get one. The 45-year-old father of two, laid off six months ago, tells the Huffington Post that he's been "aggressively looking" for jobs—networking, applying online, attending events, and asking friends and family members for leads. Then he realized, "it's time to get proactive and creative and take the fight to them." Hence, his reward offer.

It's not going to be easy. Avidon, who last worked as a marketing consultant for a wholesale jeweler, admits he has a "really specific" area of expertise. "I have really deep experience with metals and glass, but if they're looking for someone who has experience with a different material, I don't qualify." And there's one caveat: The reward is based on his salary, so in order to get the full $25,000, you'll need to find him a job that pays at least $225,000—and he must remain employed for three months. For more, including some creative ideas he has for how you could use the reward money, click here.
