(AP Photo/Pablo Martinez Monsivais, File) As timing goes, this is either disastrous or brilliant: A South Carolina gun company is releasing a limited-edition component for semi-automatics inscribed with "You lie," reports the Free-Times. Rep. Joe Wilson, the inspiration behind the item, officially has nothing to do with it, notes the Palmetto State Armory, but it decided "to honor our esteemed congressman" anyway. As for the Tucson shootings, the Armory's president says his only reaction "is sorrow for the victims and their families and a disbelief that a human being could carry out an act like this." The component—an AR-15 lower receiver—is yours for the bargain price of $99.95, but act now: “Only 999 of these will be produced, get yours before they are gone!” according to the website.
