Ever notice a distinct similarity between the conspiracy-laden rants of Glenn Beck and Alex Jones? Well Jones has, too, and naturally, he thinks it’s a conspiracy. In an interview with New York magazine, spotted by the Atlantic, Jones says Beck ripped him off—and is up to no good. “Glenn Beck climbed over my back,” he says. “It’s very, very painful to see this biological android, a complete actor, reading off teleprompters … a fairy dancing and prancing around, using my material.”
“He’s got psychological-warfare operatives writing some of that teleprompter stuff,” Jones continues. “I’ve watched it. It’s very sophisticated; it’s very dangerous.” Jones explained more in a video posted last month, in which he accused Fox of “putting forth this prancing creature to be our leader so they can destroy him later and discredit our movement.” He says Beck is “like orange juice. It’s nutritious. It’s delicious. But I didn’t tell you the rest of what Glenn Beck is: He’s a teaspoon of cyanide. Enough to kill ten elephants in every pitcher.” (More Glenn Beck stories.)
