It may not be the way to bring that "Kumbaya" feeling back to Capitol Hill, but maybe it'll work in Kyrgyzstan? Members of the country's parliament, which the AP describes as "raucous," sacrificed seven sheep this morning in an attempt to expel evil spirits from the chamber. Nearly all the deputies attended the traditional ceremony, noted a parliament rep, who said the meat would be given to the elderly and disabled. Squabbling has gotten so bad among the nation's three-party coalition that deputies from two parties came to blows earlier this month. (More Kyrgyzstan stories.)
