Casey Anthony told an acquaintance she was a great liar when they spent time together in July 2008, the woman told the court today in Anthony’s murder trial. After talking to someone on the phone, Anthony tossed it aside and said, “Oh my God, I am such a good liar,” said witness Melissa England, who dated one of Anthony’s friends, the Orlando Sentinel reports. Anthony never referred to her daughter as the two went shopping together, England said.
Among the other witnesses was Anthony ex Ricardo Morales, who said he sold photos of her to a magazine for $4,000. Anthony’s lawyer questioned him about a picture on his MySpace page with a joke about using chloroform to “win her over.” Morales said he didn’t recall mentioning chloroform to Anthony. Casey’s father, George, also took the stand, discussing his lost gas cans after someone broke into his shed. At first, George said, Casey claimed not to know about it, but later opened her trunk and said, “Here's your [expletive] gas cans.” Click to read about the defense team's explanation of what happened to Caylee.
