It's been six years, but apparently there's still an appetite out there for the scandalous details of the Brad Pitt-Jennifer Aniston divorce, as evidenced by a new book that goes behind the scenes. Mr. and Mrs. Smith producer Arnon Milchan, with whom Pitt briefly lived after splitting with Aniston, says that Jen didn't believe the Angelina Jolie-related rumors at first. "She started asking around but no one would tell her anything because they were loyal to Brad, so she asked him point blank. He denied it." When he later admitted his feelings over a 2005 New Year's Eve trip, she tossed him out of their Beverly Hills mansion, the Daily Mail reports.
In Confidential: The Life of Secret Agent Turned Hollywood Tycoon by Meir Doran and Joseph Gelman, Milchan also reveals that Pitt originally pulled out of Mr. and Mrs. Smith because he had no chemistry with the original Mrs. Smith, Nicole Kidman. But as soon as Jolie was cast, an already infatuated Pitt was back in. After getting thrown out by Jen, Brad only returned to their home to gather his belongings before moving in with Milchan. Jen ultimately filed for divorce after seeing pictures of Brad, Angie, and Maddox in Kenya together. (It's all good now, though, because Jen's got a guy.)
