(AP Photo/Joel Ryan) The video of Ryan Gosling breaking up a street fight that went viral last month may have made him an even bigger heartthrob than he already was, but he’s just “embarrassed” by the whole thing, he tells MTV. “I think that guy really was stealing that other guy’s painting,” he explains, adding that “I should have just kept my nose out of it.” The whole thing is just “sad,” Gosling says, because the thief had apparently desired the artwork for a long time. “It turns out that … the guy was a fan, and so he wanted the painting so bad he had to steal it because he couldn't afford it,” Gosling continues. “So he finally steals the painting and then he's getting his ass kicked by his hero, and then the guy from The Notebook shows up and makes it weirder. The whole thing, nobody wins. Nobody won.” (And what about that weird outfit he was wearing when the drama went down? He explains...)
