A New York groper was nabbed after his feisty victim grappled with him, then chased him into a subway car to snap his photo with her cell phone, cops said. “I punched him with my left hand,” recalled 22-year-old Shyane Dejesus, a City College senior who said passers-by ignored her pleas for help when her attacker lifted her skirt and groped her on a Manhattan subway platform. “I didn’t want him to get away with it.” He fled into a car and she followed to get her evidence—after kicking him in the face. “The minute you fight back, they’re cowards,” she told the New York Daily News.
Froylan Andrade, 39, was busted at his Queens home after Dejesus' photo was shown by police to Andrade's estranged brother, who gave cops his address, according to the New York Post. He's being arraigned on sex abuse charges. "I was raised to fight back,” said Dejesus. “I felt disgusting. I’m nice but I’m a tough cookie.” She urged other women in similar situations to follow her lead. "Don't let them scare you,” she said. “They’re cowards.” (More subway stories.)
