LeBron James missed his third consecutive game with an injured finger and was forced to watch his Cleveland teammates lose 100-79 to New Jersey from the bench. It was the fourth straight loss for the Cavaliers, who allowed Richard Jefferson to score a season-high 36 points. Cleveland looked disjointed on both ends of the court without King James, reports the AP.

New Jersey started the third quarter on a 9-0 run and never looked back as they improved to 9-9 on the season. Jason Kidd didn’t even need to play the fourth quarter; he finished with seven points, six assists and 10 rebounds. Shannon Brown led the Cavaliers with 20 points as his club fell below .500 to 9-10.
