(AP Photo/Erin Hooley - Standard-Examiner) One police officer was killed and five more officers were injured—some critically—while serving a search warrant on a Utah home last night, KSL reports. Witnesses reported hearing three quick shots, a pause, then much more gunfire. One said he heard what sounded like an AK-47, and says he saw a narcotics strike force entering his neighbor's back yard. Another saw officers confronting a person hiding in a shed. "There's cops telling him to 'put your hands up, put your hands up,'" she said. The suspect was also shot, and is in stable condition. Agent Jared Francom leaves behind a wife and two young children.
