Today's story from the department of very questionable taste: A Chinese company is selling Helen Keller-brand sunglasses attached to the motto, "You see the world, the world sees you." Before you assume that maybe choosing a blind woman as the face of your glasses was a harmless mistake, the Wall Street Journal points out that Chinese kids study Keller in school, and a rep for the company says it was well aware of her inability to see, but was celebrating other attributes, like Keller-as-philanthropist. Which, ahem, is clearly conveyed in one ad for the specs, which involves a stunning woman being snapped by paparazzi as she exits a plane. (More Helen Keller stories.)
