Maybe the John Travolta massage scandal will quietly fade away after all: First the lawyer for the first masseur accusing Travolta of sexual assault dropped him as a client, and now Radar reports that the lawsuit filed by the second masseur will not go to trial. However, a judge will hear the case privately in mediation, a process agreed to by both sides, a source says.

The second masseur is the one accusing Travolta of sex assault in Atlanta, claiming Travolta tried to force the masseur to touch him inappropriately and then started to masturbate. Travolta’s lawyer and the masseur’s lawyer are discussing the details of the mediation, the source says, and eventually the judge “will decide how much money if any the accuser will receive.” Both sides agreed to a confidential mediation in order to keep the masseur’s identity private and to avoid a media circus.
