(AP Photo/Charles Dharapak, File) The latest poll from CNN has President Obama up 52% to 45% over Mitt Romney among registered voters. Some of the highlights: Obama leads among independent voters, 53%-42%. Romney's unfavorable rating jumped from 42% to 48% since July, while the president's remained steady at 42%. In good news for Romney, 56% of his voters say they "strongly support" him, up from 47% in May. Obama's current mark is 61%. In not-so-good news for Romney, the percentage of those who think he would right the economy has fallen from 50% in May to 45%. Read the full story here.
