Radical London Cleric Still Fighting Extradition to US

Abu Hamza al-Masri isn't giving up: Days after the European Court of Human Rights rejected his attempt to avoid extradition to the US on terror charges, al-Masri has launched a new attempt with the High Court. A judge issued interim injunctions after receiving the applications so that al-Masri and one other suspect can't be extradited before an upcoming hearing.

Al-Masri has long argued he will be inhumanely treated in the US, but legal sources tell the BBC he has no new evidence to support his case. His trial and those of four other suspects have been delayed since the late 1990s. Al-Masri is accused of planning a US terrorist training camp and of helping to kidnap Western hostages in Yemen.
