Allen Iverson missed practice all week, but luckily for the Denver Nuggets he didn't miss their game against San Antonio last night. The guard scored 29 points to lead the Nuggets past the Spurs 80-77, reports ESPN.com. Iverson has been away from the team because his 4-year-old son was injured in a fall. Elsewhere in the NBA:

  • Jarrett Jack scored on a 3-point play with 19.3 seconds left to give the Portland Trail Blazers a 115-109 double overtime win over the host Chicago Bulls.
  • The Phoenix Suns moved into first place in the Western Conference with a 104-96 win over the Seattle SuperSonics, despite 28 points from Seattle rookie Ken Durant.
