President Obama wants to encourage supporters to vote early just in case they run into Election Day glitches, so he provided a first-person example today: He returned to Chicago and cast his own ballot two weeks early, reports the Chicago Tribune. He became the first sitting president to do so, calling it an "incredibly efficient" process. But even the president has to show ID. "Now ignore the fact that there's no gray hair on that picture," he told the elections official. "I'm just glad I renewed my driver's license." (More Election 2012 stories.)
