Romney: 'I Am Feeling Awfully Darn Good'

Hopeful he will win the hearts of New Hampshire's undecided, GOP candidate Mitt Romney was effusive and optimistic about tonight's primary. But the ex-Massachusetts governor stressed upcoming races in case he loses here. He vowed to "connect with Michigan," where his father was governor and where he travels next. "Michigan is very personal for me," he told Salt Lake City's Deseret Morning News.

Romney faces a crucial test in South Carolina, the next primary, where he hopes to pull evangelicals away from Mike Huckabee. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Romney played down the evangelical showdown to focus on all 50 states. "I have to be able to put together all coalitions of all different groups, and that's exactly what we are doing," he said.
