GOP Rep: Yeah, Suuuure Obama Goes Skeet Shooting

So President Obama goes skeet shooting "all the time," eh? Well, a Republican congresswoman has one thing to say about that: Riiiight. "If he is a skeet shooter, why have we not heard of this? Why have we not seen photos? Why hasn't he referenced this at any point in time?" Rep. Marsha Blackburn wondered last night on CNN. "I tell you what I do think: I think he should invite me to Camp David, and I'll go skeet shooting with him and I bet I'll beat him."

A number of others, particularly conservatives, have also expressed skepticism over Obama's claim, CNN notes. Asked yesterday about how often the president goes skeet shooting, Jay Carney said he doesn't know. Asked why Obama has never talked about it before and why there are no photos, Carney said, "Because when he goes to Camp David, he goes to spend time with his family and friends and relax, not to produce photographs."
