Three US soldiers are in the custody of military police after allegedly sexually harassing a Korean woman on the subway Saturday night. Six soldiers were playing a boombox on the subway while dancing and yelling when the 21-year-old woman asked them to cool it. Instead, they started taking pictures of her and calling her "cute" and "beautiful," witnesses say. They also allegedly touched her breasts, Chosun Ilbo reports.

The woman called the police, leading the soldiers to try to get off at the next stop. She tried to block them, and other bystanders fought with them all the way to the gate. Three got away, but the bystanders held the rest for police, who later handed them over to military police. Military police gave a written guarantee the suspects will be investigated, and the other three are being sought. Stars and Stripes notes that the incident "has drawn national attention" in South Korea. (More US soldiers stories.)
