Hillary More Popular Than Obama

A new survey by Quinnipiac University is hopeful news for those pulling for Hillary Clinton in 2016. It shows her to be the nation's most popular politician, with a 61-34 favorable/unfavorable rating. That beats President Obama (51-46), Joe Biden (46-41), and John Kerry (43-33). The numbers fall short of 100 when people say they need more information to form an opinion.

On the Republican side, Paul Ryan had the highest favorability rating at 34, but an even higher negative rating at 36. Marco Rubio came in at 27-15 and Jeb Bush at 25-29, but both had plenty of opportunity to sway undecideds. Not so much for John Boehner at 20-41. Concludes Quinnipiac: "Hillary Clinton ends her term as Secretary of State and the bruising inquiry into the Benghazi murders as easily the most popular actor on the American political stage today."
