A quick-thinking Dunkin' Donuts employee used the only weapon at her disposal—coffee—to stop a robbery Saturday night. A man pulled into the drive-thru of the Connecticut store and asked for change for a $100 bill, NBC Connecticut reports. The clerk said she couldn't break the bill, and then things got weird: The man said he was going to rob the store and started climbing through the drive-through window. That's when the employee threw hot coffee—the coffee she had made for the customer-turned-robber, in fact—in his face.
"I did see his coffee that I made him, so I looked at (it) quick, threw him the first one. Looked at the pots of coffee and threw the pot of coffee at him," she says. And she even got a quip in: "That’s when he started running into his truck and then he left, and I said, 'Go run on Dunkin.'" (More Dunkin' Donuts stories.)
