"And I think it was actually a very benign joke." She echoes that sentiment to Entertainment Tonight: "I did not see that one coming. It was a joke. It was a lighthearted joke." Fey and Amy Poehler, while hosting the Golden Globes, had warned Swift to stay away from Michael J. Fox's son. Poehler was a bit more sympathetic to Swift's reaction, telling the Hollywood Reporter, "Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist and she is a young and talented girl."
