When will Jennifer Lopez learn that diva demands don't pay? The singer was in talks to perform at the Premier League cricket tournament opening ceremonies, which is a big, big deal in India. But sources tell the New York Post J.Lo demanded a private plane and tons of hotel rooms for her entourage, and the organizers decided to book Pitbull instead. "The demands made on behalf of Jennifer were outrageous. She effectively priced herself out of the event," says a source. "It was an idiotic move because the audience for this event is huge. It’s like the Super Bowl halftime show. Last year it drew 56 million viewers."
Her reps insist, of course, that it was actually Lopez's schedule (they say she's busy recording an album) that prevented her from taking the gig. Lopez also had to dispute another unflattering story this week: Star reported that she was insisting boyfriend Casper Smart sign "a contract to protect her image and growing empire," whatever that means. But, according to Fox News, a source close to the couple told Gossip Cop the story is false. (That source refers to the supposed contract as a "pre-wedding confidentiality agreement.")
