Are you guilty of "Netflix adultery"? That's secretly watching a video on Netflix you were supposed to be waiting to watch together with your significant other. According to a survey by the site itself, 51% of adults in committed relationships said they had or would cheat. Only 12% of those surveyed actually admitted to doing the deed, while 10% reported being cheated on, reports New York. Of those who cheated, 22% admitted to watching the forbidden footage in bed while their loved one was asleep next to them.
Additionally, the survey of 2,000 American adults found guys are more promiscuous Netlflix watchers than women (or at least more open about it), with 77% of men 18 to 34 saying they would cheat, compared to 57% of women. "Netflix can’t be held responsible for any trust issues, lovers' spats, or marital troubles that arise from watching ahead of your partner," said the company. "We also will not cover any therapy sessions. As always, we advise to watch responsibly." (More Netflix stories.)
