A 60-year-old woman found herself—and her car—trapped in a sinkhole yesterday in Toledo, Ohio. The hole was some 10 feet deep, but Pamela Knox was able to extricate herself using a ladder, the Toledo Blade reports. She was hospitalized but appeared unhurt. The hole formed as a result of a sewer collapse, says a rep for the city. "We had a lot of rain lately and something must have washed out under the road," said Mayor Mike Bell. Crews were able to pull the car out hours later.
