Dave Matthews Hitchhikes to His Own Concert

It's a good thing Emily Kraus and her boyfriend stopped to pick up a hitchhiker on their way to a Dave Matthews Band concert—the wayfarer was none other than Dave Matthews himself. Matthews was out for a bike ride before his concert in Hershey, Penn., when his tire went flat, WPXI reports. To make matters worse, he didn't have a cellphone to call for help. Thanks to the star-struck fans, he got to his concert on time, and repaid the pair by taking them out to dinner, giving them front-row seats and a backstage pass, and signing their tickets, reports CBS 21. "I woke up this morning and said, 'OK, yeah, that really happened.' It was surreal,” says Kraus, per WPXI.
