Things are not looking good for Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom. TMZ reports today that they're separated, though not taking steps toward divorce just yet. That comes after a breathless report yesterday that Lamar "vanished" and had been MIA for almost three days, after Khloe kicked him out of their house Wednesday. The problem: Odom's crack addiction, which Kardashian has been keeping a secret from her family for years, the gossip site says. Things apparently came to a head when Khloe tried to stage an intervention and Lamar wasn't having it.
Odom has reportedly been struggling with addiction for at least two years, and made one attempt at rehab but only lasted three weeks. Sources say things got really bad after basketball season ended and he became a free agent, and when he took off last week, his family and friends worried he might be hiding out somewhere binging on crack. Over the years, sources say Khloe has even hired private investigators to follow Lamar, but she told them she was simply concerned about him using performance-enhancing drugs.
