(AP Photo/Bill Kostroun, File) The NFL will settle concussion-related lawsuits from more than 4,500 former players for $765 million, a federal judge says, though she still needs to approve the deal. The settlement would go toward concussion-related compensation as well as medical research and medical exams, reports the AP. The NFL and the plaintiffs—including at least 10 members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Junior Seau's family, and a Super Bowl-winning quarterback—have been in mediation for months.
