The private spacecraft hauling some 1,300 pounds of food and clothes to the International Space Station will have to wait at least another couple of days to make its delivery, after a technical glitch this morning foiled the meet-up between the two spacecraft. Virginia-based Orbital Sciences says its Cygnus capsule established contact with the ISS this morning, but that the former rejected data, putting the kibosh on the planned docking. Orbital Sciences says it's working on a software repair, reports the AP, but it'll be at least two days before it tries again. It's got time: Cygnus, which is on its maiden voyage, has the means to keep orbiting for months. Cygnus launched Wednesday; click for more. (More International Space Station stories.)
