The duo has been identified as 39-year-old Christos Salis and a 40-year-old woman who uses both the names Eleftheria Dimopoulou and Selini Sali, the AP reports. The couple have now been formally charged with abducting the girl, known only as "Maria," and have been placed in detention to await their trial, the BBC reports. The charity looking after Maria says it has already had 10,000 phone calls and emails about the girl, and is following up on four promising leads. (More Greece stories.) Report an error
