World | Rob Ford Rob Ford: Rehab Is Great, Like Redskins Camp Location of said rehab remains mysterious By Kevin Spak Posted May 7, 2014 11:31 AM CDT Copied In this Tuesday, December 10 2013 file photo, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford speaks in Toronto. (AP Photo/The Canadian Press, Chris Young File) Alleged border incidents aside, Rob Ford is in rehab somewhere, and it is awesome. That's the gist of the interview Ford gave the Toronto Sun today. "I feel great. Rehab is amazing," the Toronto mayor said. "It reminds me of football camp. Kind of like the Washington Redskins camp I went to as a kid. … I am working out every day and I am learning about myself." He added that in between sessions he's still working and calling constituents. "I am getting help but I still want to help." Ford refused to specify even which country he was in, but promised he'd return from wherever he was in time for the mayoral election. "Of course, I am coming back and I am going to kick butt," he says. He explains that he knew he needed help when he heard a recording of his most recent drunken rant. "That's it," he remembers saying. "I told Dougie, 'I am going away.'" Read These Next Her blood isn't compatible with anyone else's. Some of the most explosive Diddy allegations are dropped.
