The Utah Jazz, after ending a 10-game winning streak in their previous game, started another one last night with a 97-87 win over the Chicago Bulls, reports the Associated Press. Carlos Boozer led the Jazz with 22 points and 12 rebounds as Utah almost blew a 14-point lead before pulling away in the fourth quarter. The Bulls were finishing off a six-game road trip. In other NBA action:

  • The Houston Rockets rode 28 points from Yao Ming and 15 from Tracy McGrady to their 10th win in 11 games, a 108-89 rout of the Atlanta Hawks.
  • The New York Knicks dug out of a 17-point third-quarter hole to end an eight-game losing streak with a 99-98 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Jamal Crawford led the way with 30 points for New York.
