Lost will end in 2010, ABC announced yesterday, after three more seasons of just 16 episodes each. The unusual strategy is an attempt to reverse a ratings slump caused by scheduling shifts and a slew of increasingly baffling plot twists. Co-creator Damon Lindelof tells USA Today the team behind the show has "specific designs" for the rest of the run.
