LeBron James continued to make a strong case that he should win the NBA MVP Award by posting his seventh triple-double of the season, in Cleveland’s 88-80 come from behind win over Portland. King James scored 24 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished 11 assists. He also had a steal and two blocks to fill out the stat sheet, reports the Associated Press.

The Cavaliers trailed by as many as 13 points in the second quarter and did not take a lead until Anderson Varejao converted a 3-point play with 9.2 seconds left in the third to give Cleveland a 62-61 lead. The Cavs were able to make plays down the stretch, while the Blazers folded, committing three turnovers in the final two minutes. (More basketball stories.)
