Trump Is Fighting With Fox News Again

That most mercurial of tweeters, Donald Trump, is once again in a fight with Fox News after the network canceled his scheduled appearance on the O'Reilly Factor, the Star-Ledger reports. "Fox News has been treating me very unfairly, and I have therefore decided that I won't be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future," the Republican front-runner posted to Twitter today. According to a statement released following the tweet, Fox News is sick of Trump attacking their anchors and hosts when coverage doesn't go his way. But the network is even more sick of the rest of us. "The press predictably jumped to cover his tweet, creating yet another distraction from any real issues that Mr. Trump might be questioned about," the statement reads.

However it would be wrong to assume Trump's current attitude toward Fox News will last more than a few days. His on-again-off-again relationship with the network has been like something from Friends since the Fox News GOP primary debate last month, the Star-Ledger reports. Fox News isn't unique in that respect. According to the Washington Post, Trump has recently buried the hatchet with NBC's Chuck Todd, radio host Hugh Hewitt, and the Post's own Chris Cillizza. But his battles with the Des Moines Register and Huffington Post are ongoing. That could all change by the time you read this. As the Post warns: "Exercise caution when assuming you are up to speed on Donald Trump's media feuds." (More Donald Trump stories.)
