Sen. Elizabeth Warren—notably the only female senator not to endorse Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders—plans to officially back Clinton in the coming weeks, Reuters reports. An endorsement from Warren, who is popular with progressives, could bring Sanders' supporters over to Clinton's side. Reuters cites sources close to Warren who say the senator is now most concerned with how to best beat Donald Trump, with whom she's engaged in numerous Twitter battles in recent weeks. And while Warren isn't clamoring to be Clinton's VP, she "has not ruled it out." Neither, apparently, has Clinton. "I'm looking at the most qualified people and that includes women, of course,” the Hill quotes Clinton as saying about her VP hunt. "It doesn't matter to me who the person is as long as that person can really do the job that is required." Clinton plans to name a running mate before the Democratic National Convention in July.
