5 Questioned After NYC 'Vehicle of Interest' Stopped

There may have been a breakthrough in the Manhattan bombing case: The FBI says it is questioning five people brought in late Sunday after authorities stopped a vehicle that had crossed the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge from Staten Island to Brooklyn. Law enforcement sources tell the New York Times that all or most of the suspects were from the same family and they may have been on their way to an airport when they were stopped.

The FBI said in a statement that investigators stopped "a vehicle of interest in the investigation into Saturday’s bombing in Manhattan and that no one has been charged with any crime." Sources tell the New York Daily News that a stash of weapons was found inside the suspects' SUV. The AP reports that authorities are still trying to determine whether there is a link between the Manhattan bomb, an unexploded device found blocks away, and devices in New Jersey, including five found at a train station Sunday night.
