Worst Getaway Vehicle Ever? 5 Craziest Crimes of the Week

A strange choice of getaway vehicle and some alleged burglars who did a lot more than just burgle make this week's list of the craziest crimes:

• Cops: Woman's Getaway Vehicle Doesn't Work Well: An alleged robber in Gainesville, Florida, managed to successfully get away from an Arby's restaurant, only to be foiled in part by her choice of getaway vehicle: a taxi cab. Police say she robbed the restaurant at gunpoint, then made the unusual choice of hopping in a cab. She didn't make it far.
• Alleged Burglars Caught in the Act, So to Speak: Chocolate, Barry White, oysters ... burglary? It appears breaking and entering is the hot new aphrodisiac after a Tennessee woman returned home after a weekend away to find a couple getting down on her couch. "It's like they just had a big old nasty party," Jamie Barnes says. And that's not all they did.

• Bank Robber Suspect Busted in 'Incredible Coincidence': Thirteen years ago, a bank customer was fatally shot in the neck and another customer was wounded when a man wearing an FBI jacket opened fire. The robber escaped with more than $10,000. Now, thanks to what the FBI calls "an incredible coincidence," and the lick of an envelope, a suspect has been captured.
• Activists Free Penguin, May Have Doomed Him: Two South African students may have gotten in over their heads when they "liberated" a penguin from a South African marine park. Surveillance video showed two still-unidentified students breaking into the enclosure at Bayworld marine park, grabbing the penguin, and driving it to the nearby shoreline, where they released it. But the park manager says there's one really big problem.
• A Wheelchair, a $37K Rolex, and Now a Plea Deal: A watch thief has pleaded guilty in a strange case. Larry Johnson wheeled himself into a jewelry store in Stamford Town Center in 2014 and requested a closer look at a $37,000 Rolex. Once he had it in hand, he leaped out of the wheelchair and sprinted out of the store. It was the left-behind wheelchair that ultimately doomed him.
