(Photo by Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP, File) Kathy Griffin has been fired by CNN in the wake of her President Trump photo flap. "CNN has terminated our agreement with Kathy Griffin to appear on our New Year's Eve program," the network tweeted Wednesday. Griffin, who was also dumped by Squatty Potty in the wake of the scandal, has apologized for what many are calling a "vile" and "disgusting" image of her holding what appears to be Trump's bloody severed head. Griffin has co-hosted the New Year's Eve special with Anderson Cooper for the past 10 years, and Cooper responded to the photo saying he was "appalled," Variety reports. "It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate." Trump himself also called Griffin out for the photo, saying his children are "having a hard time" with it.
