Dems Shower Each Other With Attacks

Democratic hopefuls blasted each other's tactics today as Tuesday's Pennsylvania primary fast approaches, the Caucus blog reports. Hillary Clinton called Barack Obama's campaign "negative" and released an ad saying he spreads “false charges” about her health care plan. Obama's camp rolled out an ad rejecting her claim that he takes money from PACs and lobbyists.

On the stump today, Obama complained of "11th-hour smears" and reminded voters that they still have a choice—but a new Pennsylvania poll shows 8% remain unsure and 48% prefer Clinton over 43% for Obama. Clinton told Keystone State voters that she has “leadership you can count on," and added, “My opponent does one thing and his campaign does another.” (More Hillary Clinton stories.)
