Texas Police Search for Woman in Strange Doorbell Video

A Montgomery, Texas, homeowner was awakened at 3:20am Friday to the sound of a ringing doorbell—only to find no one at the door. But the mystery of who rang the bell in the Sunrise Ranch subdivision only deepened when the resident looked at the video taken by the doorbell security camera: It showed a barefoot woman clad in only a T-shirt; something is dangling from her wrists, and some viewers have suggested they're broken restraints, reports ABC News.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office posted the video, which ends once the doorbell is pressed, to Facebook and asked that the post be shared as they try to establish whether the woman had been reported missing, though so far a missing persons database hasn't returned any matches, reports the Houston Chronicle.
