Delta confirmed that Atlanta police met a flight en route from Reagan Washington National Airport in DC on Wednesday "due to a customer's behavior on board the flight." A passenger who was reportedly on Flight 1822 provided a little more color on Twitter: "Today a man on my plane went on an anti-Semitic tirade and demanded 'all Jews raise their hands' so he could 'indentify [sic] them. Later, during the arrest he protested and resisted arrest.'"

WXIA confirms that latter part to be the case by way of the Atlanta PD, which said the man, identified as David Toaff, "continued the disturbance" at the gate. It's captured on video, in which someone off-camera can be heard telling him, "You're a Nazi." Toaff was ultimately arrested and charged with obstruction and disorderly conduct. The AP reports Toaff, identified as being in his mid- to late-30s, was still jailed as of Thursday morning. (And now, a truly uplifting story involving a flight attendant.)
